Where is KCV Trailer Rentals located?
KCV Trailer Rentals office is located at 127 Pleasant Hill Road, Scarborough, ME 04074 on the second floor, to the Right.
Our storage facility is located at 82 Rigby Rd, Scarborough, ME 04074.
When the road forks, follow it to the right. Please call the office for the location of your unit.
What are the office hours?
Monday-Thursday, 8:30 AM to 4 PM
Friday, 8:30 AM to 1 PM
What are the access hours?
You can access your unit 24/7.
Am I required to store long-term?
No, we provide flexible month-to-month lease options. Store with us short or long-term.
Do you offer discounts for advance payment?
We offer a 5% discount when you pay 6 months in advance, and a 10% discount when you pay 1 year in advance.
How do I lock my container?
Containers are locked with a padlock. You may bring your own, or purchase one from KCV Trailers.
How do I pay my storage bill?
Initial payments can be made online, over the phone, or in person by Credit Card, Debit Card, or ACH. Autopay is available when using any of these payment methods. Subsequent payments can be made by Check/Money Order if you prefer.
What documentation do I need to rent a unit?
A valid form of government-issued ID such as driver’s license, passport, or state ID.
Do I need storage insurance?
Insurance is not required to rent through KCV Trailers.
What kinds of items are your containers suitable for?
Any non-perishables that don't require climate control. Our units are not climate controlled, and are typically the temperature of the surrounding air. Please note that condensation can build up if the container is not opened at least once per month—a tarp is recommended if you don't intend to access your unit for long periods of time.
What items am I not allowed to store?
Perishables, plants, animals, stolen or illegal goods, flammable or hazardous items, combustible items, or liquids.
What security features do you offer?
Our facility is under 24-hour video surveillance.
